We never stopped believing in you -Tinubu congratulates Israel Adesanya

Israel Adesanya, a mixed martial artist, has received congratulations from President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his knockout victory over Alex Pereira at UFC 287 in Miami.

In what he termed as “sweet revenge” for his sole loss in the UFC at middleweight against the same opponent in November 2022, Adesanya submitted the Brazilian in the second round.

In response to his victory, Tinubu praised the “Stylebender” for never losing faith in himself and for upholding the Nigerian flag.
