The President, Muhammadu Buhari on Saturday said his administration has improved health facilities in the country, especially during and after the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Buhari also said Nigeria was one of the countries that defied global predictions of the socio-economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic because of its resilience, commitment and passion in managing the pandemic.
He said this in his nationwide broadcast to mark the nation’s 62nd independence.
He also added that his administration embarked on addressing critical ecological challenges across the country to mitigate the impact of climate change.
