Over $3 billion will be allocated by the World Bank and the US Export-Import Bank (EximBank) to help Nigeria implement its energy transition plan.
They made the commitment yesterday during Vice President Yemi Osinbajo’s global virtual launch of the Energy Transition Plan.
Nigeria requires more than $410 billion to implement the NEAT (Energy Access and Transition Plan) by 2060.
NEAT is a strategy for addressing Nigeria’s twin issues of energy poverty and climate change.
