Sowore appoints lawyer as spokesperson

Omoyele Sowore, the African Action Congress’ presidential candidate, has named Onyinye-Gandhi Chukwunyere to serve as his official spokesperson for the upcoming 2023 Presidential elections.
Mr. Chukwunyere is an attorney, a policy analyst, and a commentator on world affairs. He is from Ekwereazu, in the Ahiazu Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State.
Olorunfemi Adeyeye, the AAC’s publicity secretary, underlined the appointment’s instant effectiveness in a statement on Wednesday morning.
“Our presidential candidate, Mr. Sowore, has named Onyinye-Gandhi Chukwunyere as his official spokesperson for the next Presidential elections in 2023,” said the statement.
“As president of the Legal Aid Group, Nigeria, Chukwunyere was actively involved in the advocacy for efficient resource management, transparent leadership, and rapid socioeconomic development in Africa.
“He worked extensively as a legal practitioner in the Oil and Gas sector, human rights Law, and in exposing illicit financial flows to and fro the African continent.
“He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria.
“This appointment is effective immediately.”
