Shittu: I’m sure the North West governors will back Tinubu

Abdhur Raheem Adebayo Shittu, a former minister of communications for Nigeria, discussed internal strife within the All Progressives Congress on the Morning Show. He stated that despite differing viewpoints, he is confident the North West APC governors will continue to support Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the party’s presidential candidate.
Kashim Shettima, the party’s vice presidential candidate, is a native of the North East. Due to the assumption that the vice presidential candidate will come from the North West governors, this has caused reactions.
Many people think Tinubu no longer has the support of the North West governors as a result.
Mr. Shittu, however, insists that he is certain that the North West governors are still on Asiwaju’s side despite the reports.
He comes to the conclusion that Tinubu’s backing from these governors helped him win the primary. He thinks their backing will continue to grow.
