Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party and Peter Obi of the Labour Party both attacked the Federal Government on Monday for the insecurity and economic crises the country is now experiencing, claiming that Nigeria possessed all the indicators that would classify it as a failed state.
The two contenders concurred that 2023 will determine Nigeria’s future, underlining the importance of the election to the nation’s survival.
Atiku and Obi addressed during the Nigerian Bar Association’s 62nd Annual General Conference, which is taking place in Lagos.
The All Progressives Congress vice presidential candidate Kashim Shettima, who attended the event on behalf of Bola Tinubu, was also present.
Because of their accomplishments as governors of the states of Lagos and Borno, he asked Nigerians to support their united ticket.
