PDP and government clash over projects as Buhari visits Imo

Due to the President’s visit to the state on Tuesday, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd.) and the state chapter of the People’s Democratic Party are at odds with one another (today).

According to an update provided by the state commissioner for information and strategy, Declan Emelumba, Buhari is planned to be in the state to open the reconstructed state House of Assembly building, the first section of the Owerri-Okigwe Road, and the Owerri-Orlu Road.

In a statement released on Monday by Collins Opurozor, the PDP’s spokesperson, said that state governor Hope Uzodimma was inviting Buhari to the state to launch unfinished projects.
