NBC REVOKES LICENCES of SILVERBIRD, AIT, RAYPOWER RHYTHM FM, OTHERS’

Silverbird TV, AIT, Raypower FM, and Rhythm FM, among others, had their broadcast licenses canceled by the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) for failing to renew them.

In order to ensure that the functioning of these stations is suspended within the next 24 hours, NBC Director General Mallam Balarabe Shehu has instructed the state offices to coordinate with security organizations. NBC is owed N2.66 billion by the stations.
