JUST IN!!! Kalu Mascot, Guber Candidate of the APP, will receive a Kingdom Builder Award from the Presbyterian Church

On August 13, 2022, at Hope Waddell, the church’s administrative center in Calabar, Chief Mascot Uzor Kalu, the Action Peoples Party’s (APP) governorship candidate in Abia State, would get a special appreciation award from the PCN.

Kalu will be recognized as “A Kingdom Builder” at the opening ceremony of the 25th General Assembly meeting of the Church, according to a statement issued on Thursday and signed by Most Rev. Miracle Ajah, PhD, the Principal Clerk of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria and obtained by our correspondent.
According to the statement, the Church would take advantage of the occasion to commemorate 176 years of Christian witness in Nigeria.

In the meantime, Kalu is thought to have a resoundingly large following in his Abia North region before the state’s governorship race.

He is waging a campaign to bring Abians together because, in his view, division is the enemy of the state’s progress.
He will likely face opposition at the polls from the PDP’s Uche Ikonne, the Labour Party’s Alex Otti, the APGA, and the APC, which are currently dealing with factionalization and fragmentation, weakening their chances of unseating the PDP, which has been in power since 1999.
