The billionaire businessman Ned Nwoko’s estranged wife, Laila, has publicly expressed her regret to him.
On Saturday, September 3, 2022, the Moroccan posted a moving message to her husband and family on her Instagram Stories.
“This is to my entire Ned Nwoko family. I have realised that I made mistakes that are not intentional. I listened too much to outsiders and I have decided to apologise to my husband and other members of the family. I want peace and progress in the family,” she wrote.
Laila’s post was made over a year after she declared her divorce from the billionaire.
“Hello, guys I want to say that no one has the right to talk about my marriage, please. Stop talking about people’s lives and I have divorced and already and nothing between him and me,” she wrote.
A few weeks after Laila revealed their split, the millionaire issued a post on social media outlining the specifics of the breakdown of their union.
However, he started off by debunking the rumors that his divorce from Laila was brought on by a local aphrodisiac known as “Kayamata,” which was marketed by a man by the name of Hauwa Saidu Mohammed, also known as Jaruma.
When the same product failed to rescue her marriage, the former federal politician questioned why individuals continued to use the Jaruma aphrodisiac.
He claimed that the well-known aphrodisiac vendor’s marriage had ended after only a year.
He continued by explaining what transpired that caused his marriage to Laila to end.
The Delta State-born lawmaker claims that issues began after Laila traveled to London with her children on vacation.
The mother of three allegedly left her children at the hotel during the trip and went clubbing, where she caught the dreaded coronavirus.
The police were called after a struggle between Laila and the unnamed man, according to the statement that was made public.
While in the UK, she underwent cosmetic surgery without his permission.
Nwoko claimed he made the decision to make a statement public in order to clear the air because Laila has persisted in blaming others.
Finally, he decided to keep his family and himself apart from Jaruma and her company.
