Gunmen kill Delta chief

According to reports, gunmen shot and killed Emmanuel Bikogha, a chief, on Sunday at the well-known PTI crossroads in Effurun, Delta State’s Uvwie Local Government Area.

Before being assassinated, Bikogha was a well-known chief in the state’s Ughievwen Kingdom, specifically in the Ughelli South Local Government Area.

One of Bikogha’s palace coworkers, Freeborn Ayoma, verified the occurrence on Monday.

However, as of the time this report was submitted, specifics regarding what might have precipitated Bikogha’s murder were still hazy.
