Grammy’s honor plaque delights Joeboy

Joseph Akinfenwa-Donus, best known by his stage name Joeboy, is a rapidly emerging Nigerian singer. He has expressed joy over the acknowledgment plaque he received from the Recording Academy/ Grammy Awards.
The award was given in recognition of his cooperation on Major Lazer’s album “Music is the weapon.”
The singer claimed he received the music academy’s certification of recognition based on his efforts and used his social media platforms to convey the enormous accomplishment with his followers and well-wishers.
At the 64th Grammy Awards, the singer’s CD was up for Best Dance/Electronic Music.
Joeboy, who recently dropped a single called “Contour,” was planning to release his sophomore studio album later this year as he prepares for major things to happen as the year comes to a close.
He is an Afrobeat musician from Nigeria who was signed to the Barku Music record label with Mr. Eazi’s company emPawa Africa Limited’s exclusive permission.
His career began in 2017 with the debut of his single, “Shape of You,” which received a ton of attention both domestically and abroad.
Mr. Eazi took notice of his incredible singing and decided to support his musical endeavors.
In March 2019, he released another song, “Faaji,” which became immediately popular. Later, he released “Baby,” which debuted in the top 10 on the Apple Music chart and continued to gain popularity.
Joeboy had a successful career; in fact, Rema of Marvin Records won the Next Rated Category at the Headies Awards in 2020, where he had been nominated.
The singer is well-known for his hit songs, including “Alcohol,” “Baby,” “Beginning,” and “All for you.”
