The case involving the federal government and the academic staff union of universities is postponed by a court until September 16th (ASUU).
The case was postponed by Justice Polycap Hamman so that both parties could file the required court documents.
The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) requested permission to continue operations from the Federal Government, and the National Industrial Court (NICN) in Abuja granted it.
According to a statement by the Director of Press and Public Relations at the Ministry of Labor and Employment, Olajide Oshundun, the Minister, Chris Ngige, addressed the issue to the Registrar of NICN on September 8th.
On February 14, ASUU began a four-week strike that has now been extended as attempts to reach an agreement with the administration have failed.
