President Muhammadu Buhari is in Afaka, Kaduna State, for the passing-out parade and commissioning ceremony of cadets from Regular Course 69 of the Nigerian Defence Academy.
At 10:40 a.m., the President, who is the Reviewing Officer, arrived at the location and examined a Quarter Guard at the NDA main entrance.
He is anticipated to give the Champion Battalion the Banner and honorable cadets with awards.
All of the service chiefs, Usman Alkali, the Inspector General of Police, Ahmed Lawan, Senate President, the governors of Kaduna and Niger states, and members of the National Assembly are among the dignitaries in attendance.
A total of 239 cadets including those from sister African countries such as Liberia, Sierra Leone, Niger Republic, Chad, and Uganda are passing out from the Academy as junior military officers.
