Breaking: Police commence Investigation of MC Oluomo’s threat against Igbo – Lagos CP

According to Idowu Owohunwa, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, an investigation has been opened into the purported threat made by Musiliu Akinsanya, also known as MC Oluomo, the chairman of the Lagos State Parks Management Committee, against Igbo.

In an interview with TV Arise News regarding the Saturday governorship and state assembly elections preview, Owohunwa made this statement.

In a viral video, MC Oluomo urged Igbo residents of Lagos not to bother voting if they didn’t support the ruling party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Reacting to it, Lagos CP said, “We condemn in strongest possible terms any act, statement that could be interpreted, speech that could be interpreted deeply as political tension. With regards to this specific video, it is currently a subject of an investigation.”
