The terrorists responsible for the attack on the St. Francis Catholic Church in Owo, Ondo State, have been detained, according to the Defence Headquarters.
General Lucky Irabor, the Chief of Defence Staff, revealed the information during a discussion with media representatives at the Defense Headquarters in Abuja. He said the perpetrators were apprehended in coordination with other security agencies.
Over 30 people were killed when terrorists opened fire on worshipers inside the Catholic Church during a Sunday Mass.
The occurrence took place on June 5.
