The former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emeifele, was brought before the Federal High Court in Abuja on Wednesday by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
The EFCC had failed to comply with the order of the FHC directing it to produce Emefiele in court on Monday or release him unconditionally.
Following the disobedience by the commission, the court restated its order and adjourned proceedings till Wednesday.
However, EFCC complied with the order as Emefiele was led into the court by heavily armed operatives.
The judge is, however, yet to sit.
