Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, a striker for Barcelona, was attacked early on Monday during a brutal heist inside his home in the Spanish city.
His residence was broken into by armed guys, who beat him, according to a Spanish source.
According to El Pais, at least four guys entered his backyard and intimidated him with pistols and iron bars. After breaking into the player’s safe, the thieves made off with jewelry.
According to the story, Aubameyang was abused by the men in front of his wife before they fled in a white Audi A3. Aubameyang joined the team from Arsenal in January.
The Gabonese international has previously suffered from a similar issue.
