In an effort to put a stop to banditry in the northwest state of Zamfara, infamous bandit boss Bello Turji has supported the state government’s peace program.
This was revealed by Senator Hassan Nasiha, the deputy governor of Zamfara State, at a security conference held in Gusau, the state’s capital, and sponsored by the Students Union of Medina University.
Nasiha praised Turji for making the decision to abstain from banditry, noting that his decision has resulted in a relative calm in the three local government districts that had previously been the focal point of banditry in Zamfara State.
