The wife of the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Titi Atiku, has condemned the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi’s campaign in churches.
Titi, who met with North-East women stakeholders at the Banquet Hall of the Government House in Yola, on Saturday, called on the Christian electorate to be wary of politicians using religion as bait.
She said, “Don’t let people come to tell you one Obi is somewhere and he will do it for you because he’s a Christian.
Earlier, wife of ex-Adamawa State governor, Mrs Zainab Boni-Haruna, had said, “I am aware that a stranger came to town, that stranger’s name is Obi. This Obi, as you must have known was part of the PDP, but who went out through the other door, and has been moving from church to church seeking Christian votes to become President on the grounds of religion. Don’t be deceived, they are lying to you.”
