Atiku offers N50 million for Kano flood victims

On Monday, Atiku Abubakar, a former vice president, gave N50 million to Kano State’s Kantin Kwari Textile Market’s flood-affected vendors.

According to The PUNCH, a market flood last week ruined merchandise worth millions of naira.

Atiku, the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential candidate, made the announcement at a lavish reception held for Ibrahim Shekarau, the senator representing Kano Central, who visited the party in Kano on Monday.

Atiku expressed sympathy to the afflicted traders in his succinct address by saying, “Our thoughts and prayers are with traders of Kantin Kwari Textile Market.
