Army Dismisses Two Soldiers Over Murder Of Yobe Cleric

In response to the death of an Islamic cleric, Sheikh Goni Aisami Gashua, in Yobe State, the Nigerian Army has discharged two troops.

Lance Corporals John Gabriel and Adamu Gideon are two of the dismissed soldiers.

A joint board of investigation formed up in partnership with the police found them guilty, according to Lt Col. Ibrahim Osabo, acting commander officer in charge of the 241 Reece battalion at Nguru, Yobe State.
