676 recorded deaths across states as Boundary Disputes worsen insecurity

According to research by The PUNCH, 676 people were killed in various territorial and tribal disputes in Nigeria between January 2018 and August 2022.

Additionally, during the crises during the time under consideration, no fewer than 444 homes were destroyed.

This is taking place as security forces fight to keep extremists, bandits, and other violent criminals in check throughout the nation.
