The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustees (BoT) held a meeting at the party’s headquarters in Abuja.
Senator Adolphus Wabara, the PDP BoT Chairman, presided over the meeting on Friday.
The National Working Committee (NWC) and some of the governors are at odds, and the meeting discussed the reports of a reconciliation committee it established to step in and find a solution.
However, he emphasized the necessity for members to adopt the virtue of self-sacrifice in order for the PDP to enter the elections with unity in mind.
“This election is for PDP to win and to lose too if the party is not united,” he maintained.
Wabara, therefore, called on all to sheathe their swords, as no vote is too small to win the 2023 elections.
