2023: Farmers pledge massive votes for Tinubu

A group of farmers in the country, under the auspices of “Rock the Vote,” has vowed to deliver millions of votes from the grassroots for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

The group’s National Coordinator, Chief Adeyanju Ajani, made the promise while speaking with our correspondent in Akure, the Ondo State capital, on Thursday.

According to him, “Rock the Vote is a socio-political organisation, comprising mostly farmers, spread across the length and breadth of the country. We have vowed to work for the victory of Bola Ahmed Tinubu come 2023.

“We promise to engage ourselves in grassroots canvassing for votes massively in all units of the nation. The organisation wishes to be a tool or agent for the major campaign team of the APC presidential candidate.

“We shall form a synergy with political candidates at all levels to secure votes from the electorate of their various constituencies.”

Ajani, who expressed confidence that the APC’s presidential candidate will prevail in the upcoming presidential election, said that Tinubu, if elected, would bring the benefits of democracy to each state of the federation and improve the nation’s fortunes.
