2023: A list of PDP governors who did not attend the national caucus

At the PDP’s national caucus, the governors who were chosen on the party’s platform were not present.
According to Naija News, the PDP national caucus meeting was conducted on Wednesday night at the Akwa Ibom Governor’s Lodge in Asokoro, Abuja, and was presided over by the National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu.
The national caucus is thought to consist of all PDP governors, as well as all members who have served as presidents, vice presidents, or presidents of the Senate.
Other members of the party organ include past national chairs of the party, presiding officers of the National Assembly, and members of the National Working Committee (NWC).
ThisDay reports that the meeting’s host, Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State, was absent from the key gathering.
Additionally, Governors Nyesom Wike (Rivers), Seyi Makinde (Oyo), Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia), Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu), and Darius Ishiaku were absent from the vital meeting (Taraba).
Ahmadu Fintiri, the governor of Adamawa State, dispatched his deputy to speak on his behalf, and the deputy governors of Edo and Benue did the same for their respective principals.
Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, the governor of Sokoto, Douye Diri, the governor of Bayelsa, and Bala Mohammed, the governor of Bauchi, were all present at the meeting.
Atiku Abubakar, the PDP presidential candidate, former Vice President Namadi Sambo, Board of Trustees (BoT) Chairman Senator Walid Jibrin, and former Deputy National Chairman Chief Bode George were among the PDP stalwarts present at the meeting.
Adolphus Wabara, a former Senate President, Sule Lamido, a former governor of Jigawa State, Ahmed Makarfi, a former governor of Kaduna State, and Maina Waziri, a former minister of police affairs, were all present at the meeting as PDP members.
